For 2024, the Alliance calls on the Liberal Party and the opposition parties to put the overhaul of the employment insurance system at the heart of the economic priorities. Faced with the risk of recession, inflation, and climate change, it is more essential than ever that Canadians be able to rely on a solid and effective social safety net. Because of its dysfunctions, employment insurance no longer fulfills its role as a social safety net, it is imperative to change it!
